Damn. I remember seeing a Red "R" on the show and it never crossed my mind that it could be our logo. It was pretty noticable but I didn't realize it was our logo til this board. Good stuff. The logo caught my eye.
looking at the tvguide website,it appears that the next showing is this friday at 6 pm,and then again sunday early morning at 2:30 am,then again on sunday at 5:30pm.Look for a grey tshirt with red logo R.
Just this one. We did have lot of different color combinations out there (red R on gray, red on black, black on white, red on white) that will all be used for merchandise. And we did use it in different formats -- big R on the front of a t-shirt, small R over the left breast, etc. Long sleeve t-shirts, sleeveless ... you get the picture. Tim
They showed all the episodes of "Who's Got Game" today, and I noticed that at the end of first episode, they showed someone wearing a black t-shirt with a white "R" on the front. I then took these during the third episode:
It seems that the popular sources always gets the good stuff first. Probably why mtv gotz it. Well i personally think the logo is cool. Ive never seen such a gothic looking sports symbol it really give a mean look to the team. Good going rox organzation now you save yourself from the stupid rockets smile dildo's. The team had to have a good come back!
seeing the logo on a basketball shirt completely took away any doubts i had. i liked it to begin with but seeing it on some "gear" really makes it stand out. good job.
Yep...the logo looks sweet on a athletic shirt. THe second I saw it I knew I liked it because of how it would look on merchandise. I haven't paid money for a single piece of Rockets merchandise since they changed way back. I can't wait to get a new hat, though.
lol same here! I did buy a Charles Barkley jersey and a Rockets t-shirt. But the new stuff looks nice! I'm definitely going to buy some!
Heh. That's the way we actually HOPED it would leak out -- that you'd see it on merchandise FIRST, before the flat art got picked up by the media. We knew some people would like it off the bat, but some would have to see it in context (like we did) to really be convinced. It got launched a little backwards because someone leaked the flat art out early, but now all the in-context stuff is catching up. Tim
Doesn't the logo look kind of like Francis' ATR Reebok line symbol? When I saw the shirt on that guy, I automatically thought of the Reebok basketball gear.
