Rights?? What about the grandma's rights? Those people that abducted and beat her took away her rights. Why shouldn't we do the same? People that commit violent crimes like this and are caught in the act and therefore are clearly guilty, deserve no rights, except the right to be violated by their cellmates for a long, long time.
There are people in this world who have no respect for life, or others. My feeling is that those people don't need to live in public society. How can those people ever, ever function in a civilized society?
