That's a good example of what unemployment lines will look like under an Obama presidency. Spread the wealth.

    Makes no sense to me.

Columbians, Brazilians, Mexicans are considered Latin American.

Chinese, Vietnamaese, Japanese are considered Asian American.

Kenyans and Nigerans aren't considered African American?

I think it's unamerican for them to not identify themselves as American.

Any form of taxation is spreading the wealth. That goes for McCain's tax plan, Bush's tax plan, Obama's tax plan etc. The difference is who it gets spread to.

So, more people showed up for an Obama rally in St. Louis than Palin received votes for Governor in Alaska?

So then you are saying that African-American is not really a racial describer... sure seems to be used that way.

It depends on the context and where you are using the term at. If you are in America and hear it, most times someone will think you are referring to a black person. If you are in Africa and hear it, well then it's a different story. Just as there are technically white people in Africa, usually folks think of a black person when they think of Africa.

    All wordplay.......

Wow bigtexxx, I'm really impressed to see you take this tack which negates previous posts where some, possibly including yourself made it seem like race was the only reason black voters supported Obama in such heavy numbers.

That's terrific. Congrats on your new found belief in the African American voter.

Yep. You're deceived if you believe what you implied... or think that people are that stupid.

Look up the Carter Administration... or farther back... the Hoover Administration.

It can get much, much, much worse than an administration that has seen record growth and near record all time lows in unemployment.

    Much, much worse...

But the line from Faos was a bit of a s.t..r...e....t.....c......h.

Big crowds don't matter at all.

    Until they vote.

    Behold democracy at work.

I wanted to go to the rally today, but missed it. Was Obama's spiritual mentor and the man that married him there?

For those curious, the 3:30 mark has the now classic line "Don't be scurred". No dry humping podiums in this clip, sorry fans.
