Exactly. What happens after 2- more, or even 6- more years, when some decency returns to the White House (regardless if the next President is a Republican or a Democrat)? Are we just going to act like Trump's tenure never happened? Is it going to be a "boy that was a fun ride, and now that it is over, I was mainly kidding all these years." Are all of these ridiculous arguments and justifications supposed to be completely forgotten? "oh yea, remember that one time we completely sh*t on the war hero that shot and killed OBL? haha good times, we probably shouldn't have done that." Remember when we wasted not only millions of dollars on sending troops to stop that one invasion/caravan/brown people thing, but also kept soldiers away from their families during the holidays for nothing more than a political stunt? Another "oopsies moment for sure."

It will be fascinating how history will remember this time period, and how others will try and back-track/distance themselves from it.

    Irony

The Donald has spent his entire life screaming "look at me".

Turns out people didn't call him on his neverending stream of bullshit and flim flam only because they didn't care enough about him to look too closely.

The thing he's been ravenous for for his entire life is the thing that going to destroy him.

File under "be careful what you wish for".

Now all we need is three witches, and maybe an "alas poor Yorick" monologue and we've got ourselves some Shakespeare.

Elections have consequences when all lives matter in a fair and balanced way.

...at least, that would be the story I'd stick to...

He can do that because I don't believe he is running for reelection after his term expires.

President Trump Commutes Sentence of Ted Suhl
    LAW & JUSTICE

    Issued on: July 29, 2019

Today, President Donald J. Trump commuted the prison sentence of Ted Suhl, an action strongly encouraged by leaders in Mr. Suhl’s home State of Arkansas.

Mr. Suhl ran faith-based behavioral healthcare treatment centers for juveniles in Arkansas. Investigators alleged that Mr. Suhl participated in a bribery scheme to increase Medicaid payments to his company. Federal prosecutors in Arkansas declined to pursue the case, but prosecutors in Washington decided to move forward with the prosecution. Although acquitted on half of the charges filed against him, he was sentenced to seven years in prison
