My friend used to make this analogy about me compared to our other friends because i was the only one with a longtime gf. They'd make fun of me cuz they was scoring with new girls all the time, and sometimes would hook up with 2 or 3 girls in a week, and my other friend was like "yeah he ain't getting any new chicks but he's had more p***y than the rest of us combined over the past 4 years."

I dont think shot 9 out of 24 is high %. Yao needs get closer to the busket and make some dunks, not layup/ jumpers in the second half.

Agreed. He is just so much more consistent now. He does what the alll the great ones do - he just finds a way to produce.

Agree. When he is missing, you know it is going to start falling suddenly and he is going to start a binge of scoring, stealing, assisting and occasionally even rebounding.

Ummm...is this supposed to be groundbreaking or something? There is a reason why reliable big men are expensive in this league. Having a big man playing within 10 ft of the basket and making his shots at a high clip is exactly what good big men are supposed to do. Guys like McGrady and Kobe and others are guards and thus their shooting % is always lower than Shaq's or Yao's. But so far, Yao's shooting is anything but "consistent" in the playoffs. He's way below 50% so far.

He's a Center. That's why you have to have an inside presence to do something in the playoffs. You have to have a guy to throw the ball down to in the paint because those guys make high % shots.

That's how it's supposed to be: a perimeter player and an inside player. It's the same way throughout the entire league. That's why Kobe was stupid to run Shaq off his team. Now he has to settle for Kwame and Bynum's erratic game, we see how that is working out...
