I absolutely loved it when Yao elbowed Dirk in the mouth and scored a easy basket. Dirk stared at the referee sitting on his behind and was about to cry.

    LOL!!! BEAUTIFUL!!!

I would give credict to Jason Kidd. Ron's better to learn how to stop a fight from him.

Ron ran at Josh agressively but he's action was not really provoking. Luckily, Kidd was in the middle of them and he got everything under control. Ron did nothing to Josh actually.

I would say that T was an home court advantage to Mavs. If the same thing happened in Houston, the refs would not give this T.

i just knew morey would appeal and send the tape of howard tripping yao ming to stern.

    good job, morey.

the thing is not about whether the league will rescind the tech, or even watch the howard video seriously. it is about showing the support of ron and yao, for what they did on the court.

Come on, are you too lazy to find it? You're a big boy, I'm sure you can do it. I'm not wrong on that, am I?

Here it is. Be a big boy next time.

is anyone else confused that Artest was running in to separate Yao?
does Artest bring out the warrior in Yao, and Yao bring out the peacemaker in Artest? Who woulda thunk it?

The awesome part is Artest ran before it was a crowd, he ran when it was just Howard pushing Yao.

Apologies to Ron - although unworthy of a tech call, he did run into howard and kidd first, then move over to yao... it can be seen as a slight escalation of the situation. Can't really crucify the refs on this one i'm afraid.

I wouldn't say nothing. He brushed or quickly grabbed and let go of his arm before he went for the separation of Yao. Pretty easy to see.

Naw, I think its more of Ron proving to the world that he has more behind his skills other then a brawler. At the same time I think he is trying to toughen up Yao.

I still think he got the call more based on the fact of who he is. J. Kidd had more contact then anyone out there but other then I also noticed what you mentioned.

I am a big Artest fan. But I am not thrilled when Artest ran towards scumbag Howard. You never know what scumbag Howard would act or say. Artest is a guy who would black out and do silly things in a flash second. I hope Artest stays away from trouble.

Look, I know we all want to look at this as Ron standing up for Yao, and us standing up for Ron. I think that's a mistake. We have a friend in this case, Ron Artest, who has a temper problem. A temper problem is when your temper sometimes gets so out of control that you've done the kinds of things we all know about in Ron's case. I know Ron is trying to break with this past, and I believe he can do it. But it has to be a clean break.

It's like having a friend with an alcohol problem. If you have an alcoholic friend or family member, you know that the best thing you can do for them as a friend is to help them stay away from alcohol. All alcohol.

When there's a scrum, Ron Artest needs to stay away from it, period. And somebody else on the team, Brent Barry or Rafer Alston or whoever, has to be alert to that duty, like being a designated driver.

It's normal to react to a situation like this by saying "my friend was just trying to separate the two guys" or "my friend was just sticking up for his friend," or "the other guy deserved it," or whatever. Just like pointing out in the alcohol case that it was only a couple of beers. But it's not just a couple of beers when you have an alcohol problem, and it's not just a jersey grab or a stick-up-for-your-teammate when you have a temper problem. Ron needs to override the urge to intervene, and we need to help him or, at the very least, not encourage him.

We love you, Ron. But for your own good, and with the grace of God, stay out. We'll take care of it.

That tripping crap infuriated me...I didn't realize it until I saw it after the game...

Too bad the league won't do anything about it...What can they do? I can't see a suspension or a fine...It pisses me off...all we can do is sweep the Mavs this season and hopefully we meet them in the playoffs so we can sweep them again
