I am moving to the Savannah, GA area and trying to figure out the best (cheapest, reliable) way to watch the rockets. The sports bars in the town I will be in only do the local stations, and some close at 9pm. The town rolls the streets up at 10. It getting the NBA League Pass. Need some way to DVR them, or watched recorded version cause watching west coast games that come on at 10-10:30 ain't happening except for playoffs. Appreciate any feed back.
League Pass isn't cheap, but you will get every game not already covered by ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV. Also, several hours after the games end, you will have access to recorded versions of the game so no need to DVR. Keep in mind, your cable TV provider will have to have access to ESPN, TNT and NBA TV to insure access to every game. I live in Montana and for some reason, Charter stopped offering access to NBA TV here which means in order to see these games I have to wait till the next day to watch on the recorded version.
I have League Pass and Sling for ESPN, TNT, and NBA TV. That covers just about everything, in case you don't want to go the cable route
IPTV service, it's like kodi but you pay $18 a month, get every channel basically and all the sports packages. https://srmronline.com/index.php/iptv_channels/
If you want to do sports bars, Buffalo Wild Wings and Twin Peaks always have all the games. I've watched Astros games at the TP in Savannah. Excellent waitress talent too.
I was looking into sling box and hooking it up at my brothers. Does anyone know if both the local tv and satellite tv have to be watching the same thing?
What does that have to do with anything? You have to deal with that no matter which avenue you decide to go down. Besides... You can just download the game the next day if you want to watch it later. I wouldn’t spend even $.01 on this. Everything can be had for free.
I was hoping to not stay up that late. Out of market games are only available for 3-4 hrs after the game. 72 in matket.
