Does anyone have any to recommend or have bad experiences with specific movers. Also what rates did they charge?
I booked a move online with Colonial Van Lines (colonialmovers.com) mid-May about four years go. Called them every day for a week-and-a-half from the move date with their customer service telling me each day they couldn't find a driver; I ultimately had to push back my start date at the new job once I finally got down. I wasn't going to sell the old condo up there and still actually own it, so I just drove down and bought furniture at the new destination. They were nice enough to refund the $1,500 deposit after I asked.
