Great ideas. The least attractive is The Matrix- my favorite movie but it was done to death with video games, anime, etc, when the sequels came out.

I watched a few minutes of the premier episode just now. A few observations:

    1. The kid playing Ferris wasn't quite as likable as Broderick, but he did a nice job.
    2. Jennifer Anniston, who would've been about 21 at the time, was annoying and un-hot.
    3. And, the intro is one of the most '80s things I've ever witnessed...

I remember Parker Lewis being good and extremely similar. Dunno if it holds up.

I never liked the guy that played Parker Lewis or the principal (?) lady for some reason, but it was a decent show. Way underrated.

Conan is a great one, it could easily be something like GOT.

    Sign me up.
    Starship Troopers would be great.

Dungeons and Dragons. The movie was hot garbage, but there is basically infinite material for an epic television series, or even multiple series for the various campaign settings (could even do crossovers with Planescape as the hub).

I could map out 8 episodes. Not sure they would be worth a ****, but I could pretty easily.

If you know someone that knows someone in the movie world, or can put me in touch with Clive Barker, shoot me or my people a PM.

Godzilla. Just Godzilla beating up on other Kaiju and stomping cities while Morgan Freeman narrates. No other human dialogue.
