Green Mile, Where the Red Fern Grows, Titanic, The Lion King, Reign Over Me, any sports movie (Friday Night Lights, Remember the Titans, We Are Marshall, The Sixth Man (hey, it sucks when Antoine dies!), etc). The only movie that made me weep like a child was the Passion. Everyone else in the theater was sobbing pretty loudly it seemed, so I didn't feel alone in the least bit.
See, I didn't cry during the Passion of the Christ, but I felt that it was one of the most powerful movies I've ever seen. It was a completely different emotion.
The Passion was a movie driven towards the separation of church and state.... Religion became pop culture and Mr. Mel Gibson milked his money during the process.... That movie had the same impact of watching 2girls1cup!!!!!
Don't really cry but I do get the teary eyes: Titanic Spoiler not so much when Jack died but the scenes after with young Rose and then the very end scene with the pictures from her life and then meeting Jack at the end A Walk to Remember Spoiler You don't see her death on screen, but the following scene at the end when he goes back to speak to her father is pretty emotional We Were Soldiers Spoiler When they deliver the notices to the widows Star Wars: Ep III Spoiler the order to kill the Jedi, Padme's death and funeral Enemy at the Gates Spoiler when Jude Law is reunited with Rachel Weischz at the end Gladiator Spoiler from Maximus' death on Serenity Spoiler Washburn's death and the scene at the gravesite HP: Goblet of Fire Spoiler Cedric's death, specifically when Harry brings him back to the arena Spidey 2 Spoiler when the passengers save Peter from falling off the train car The Abyss Spoiler when Lindsey was talking to Bud as he was descending down the trench, and then when they're reunited at the end X2 Spoiler when Jean sacrifices herself and the Passion...I didn't really tear up but that movie kicked the emotional crap out of me like none other. and oh yeah, Backdraft Spoiler when Kurt Russell's guts are hanging out and he goes, "that's my brother dammit", and then the ambulance ride and then the funeral Armageddon Spoiler the wedding at the end when they pan by all the pictures
Man I totally forgot about Armageddon... I didn't cry but I was fighting back tears for a second. no homo.
I get teary eyed in movies where the father sacrifices something for his kid. Something like Life is Beautiful or Pursuit of Happiness. Didn't cry in Armageddon though. C'mon...
Not as funny as Deep Impact where all the Astronauts have to say goodbye to their families! Haha ****in overdramatic Nasa-wimps.
Recently, "Juno", Jennifer Garner's part is vastly underrated Reign Over Me of course got me last year recently on TV A Walk to Remember My Best Friend's Wedding, because I know one day I am going to be in Jules position one day also, surprise no love for The Notebook
star wars when darth maul pulled out the double light saber with john williams's rapeful duel of fates in the back the great debaters
I'm sorry but that movie was to corny for me to have any sort of deep emotional response. The scene in Ray where where he discovers the world around him without seeing it for himself always brings a tear to my eyes. Even after all the times I have shown it to the kids at my job.
Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace - This movie made my cry forever after having witnessed a legendary franchise turn into a cash crop for Darth Lucas. Ruined my for the rest of my life perhaps worse than getting raped. Gigli - I have never seen such a poorly constructed film in my life that I couldn't stop shedding tears for renting it and wasting 2 hours I could used to do other important thing like masturbation.
I have the Notebook sitting in my truck. It's been two years and I still have not watched it. I'm too scared to watch it. I might actually cry. My best lady friend got teary eyed talking about it, so I never could get around to it.
