I think I may have mentioned this but "Crossover" is one of mine. It is one of those movies that is so bad you want to watch it just to see how bad it is.
The Chronicles of Riddick - I loved the movie and have watched it multiple times. Sometimes more than once a day. Do I care others didn't like it? Nope. The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy - It was funny, interesting premise, and had great actors. Of course, that is my opinion and others my believe differently, but I absolutely enjoyed it.
just curious, i watched jarhead last night in it entirity for the first time last night and I thought it was great. what did people say about it? amazing performances all the way around, well acted. good cast.
Except Little Man, every single copy of that movie should be gathered up then throw all of them into the sun. So that no one will ever see it.
The "they say were bad" for me would be the people around me. Seems when I make subtly try to turn people on to it, they never warm up to it. It gets fair ratings by users in IMDB and such so I know I'm not being eccentric guy of the bunch. Also in the dvd directors commentary they themselves really didnt seem to appreciate their product. Because at the time the DVD was made years back it still NEVER made a profit for them. They sounded disappointed rather than supportive but they had a lot of fun making the movie thats for sure. I could have mentioned a better example...
I thought it was a lousy imitation of Full Metal Jacket. If I didn't buy into the film critic hype, I would've taken it for what it was and turned off any attempt to find meaning into it.
I really liked Waterworld. I may have mentioned it earlier in the thread, but I just wanted to show how much I liked the movie again.
WHAT??? SOMEONE ACTUALLY RIPPED ON HOWARD THE DUCK?!!! That is like only the best movie ever made in the 80's. Pffft screw critics.
