Wasn't that X-Files movie set in Houston? I distinctly recall Mulder talking about catching an Astros game cuz it was 2 for 1 beer nite at the dome.
Congo. I remember because they have a brief scene at the beginning where someone is supposed to be in Houston... with mountains in the background! God, what a piece of crap movie that was.
I saw Powder, most of this movie was set in a rural area (which I'm sure you could find plenty of in the city limits)
This got me searching for movies filmed in Sydney, Australia (Where I live): http://us.imdb.com/List?locations=Sydney,+New+South+Wales,+Australia&&tv=on&&skip=400 Obviously being the largest city in Australia see's us produce alot of smaller films. We did have the Matrix movies filmed here as well as one of the new Star Wars films.
My friend's brother is an ambulance driver / medic in that one. Some of Rush was filmed at Bay Area Park in Clear Lake- I think. I still haven't seen it.
"My Best Friend is a vampire" is set/filmed in houston. The parts of speed that is filmed on an unfinished highway is actually beltway 8.
i know at least part of sidekicks was filed at Spring Branch Jr. High, which is no longer open...it's been demolished. Was at Kirkwood and I-10, on north side of freeway.
