    Wasn't that X-Files movie set in Houston? I distinctly recall Mulder talking about catching an Astros game cuz it was 2 for 1 beer nite at the dome.

    Congo. I remember because they have a brief scene at the beginning where someone is supposed to be in Houston... with mountains in the background! God, what a piece of crap movie that was.

    I saw Powder, most of this movie was set in a rural area (which I'm sure you could find plenty of in the city limits)

    My friend's brother is an ambulance driver / medic in that one.

    Some of Rush was filmed at Bay Area Park in Clear Lake- I think. I still haven't seen it.

    "My Best Friend is a vampire" is set/filmed in houston.

    The parts of speed that is filmed on an unfinished highway is actually beltway 8.

    i know at least part of sidekicks was filed at Spring Branch Jr. High, which is no longer open...it's been demolished. Was at Kirkwood and I-10, on north side of freeway.
