I can't remember ever bawling, but I did get teary-eyed watching these. As you'll notice, war movies really affect me. Maybe because those types of movies are based on true stories?
Don't know if anyone brought it up already, but The Green Mile made me sob like a little b**** with a skinned knee. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="560" height="349" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/T4O-QvjQjU8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
TV show.. Maybe someone will know what I am talking about here.. There was an episode of either CSI or I think more likely Without A Trace.. There was this older guy who got brought in because he had child p*rn on his computer.. turns out he was trying to rescue some child somehow and that was the only way he could track her? (sorry if I am not remembering it correctly) .. Anyway, at the very end of the episode, they finally found and rescued the girl, and as they brought her through the hallways of the station there, the man was sitting on a bench, and they walked past.. the Boss good guy gives a grateful nod to the man, and he nods back.. they walk on past.. and then he just utterly breaks down in tears.. It was one of the most powerful things I ever saw on TV.. and I *think* the guy got an Emmy for it, but I could be wrong.. Does anyone remember this?
I'm so scared of horror flicks that I usually end up crying in fear whenever anything REMOTELY shocking happens. The only non-horror movie that makes me cry is Disney's "Fox and the Hound." And I watch it at least once a year. Oh, I also cried during "Hariett the Spy," but I'm pretty sure it was a fluke. I was like 7 years old, and I don't even remember what it was about.
I don't think it has been mention yet in this thread, but the Air Bud scene where Josh, in order to save Buddy from the evil clown, throws the ball on the island to make Buddy chase after it, and he yells horrible things at Buddy, then he starts crying as he hops into the boat abandoning Buddy, while poor Buddy is wondering what he did wrong. So sad. I cry in more animal movies than anything else: Where the Red Fern Grows Air Bud Old Yeller Fluke- some movie where a man dies and turns into a dog, and ends up living with his family as their pet. So sad to see him see his family talk about him and move on with their lives Cartoons: Toy Story 3, when I was very young I used to cry when Mufasa dies in the Lion King. chick flicks: The Notebook, A Walk to Remember Watching the TV show Extreme Makeover Home Edition is something I cry in the beginning, middle, and end. I used to always catch it at the gym on Sunday nights if I worked out at 7, and started to tear up while on the treadmill. lol.
Watched Dear Zachary: A Letter to a Son About His Father last night, have never had tears pour down my face in my life like that...
god, everyone's been talking about this dear zachary movie, so i read the plot synopsis on wikipedia...**** that!!! i would be depressed for months if i'd have watched that before knowing the ending.
