my mind is blown from confusion? so arnold goes back to the 80s as the good cyborg while the killer version of himself is out there searching for sarah? would have been cool if they had filmed at the same time as terminator 1 but only released it now
Oh no, no, no. That was pretty awful. Acting seemed flat. Storyline different but somewhat the same. Action cool in some moments but utterly preposterous in others. Did they actually think Arnie skydiving was supoosed to be badass? And why must they continue to recycle the same tired lines. Next to zero interest in this before and even less now. Terminator was done after 2. They just need to stop already.
That. cop car, the alley, and the store where Reese gets clothes and is almost gets run over by an armored truck are all straight out of the original Terminator. I would bet that Reese is going back exactly to where and when he went in the first move, but the twist will be that Skynet and the resistance escalated to the next level, and sent people back to change the events from the first film. I'm confident that this will run parallel to the events of the first film, but those events are being "overwritten" by attempts to send people back further. So the car you speak of will be seen in ''84.
You don't think these two corny one-liners are gonna make this film James Cameron worthy? "Come with me if you want to live." And "I'll be back."
If they would have taken my advice and gone with a dog terminator in the new one...sheesh!!! CHOMPS 911

I vowed never to be fooled again after the horrible T3 which waited outside the cinema on opening day. I'll watch it if the reviews are good enough. Otherwise, Redbox only like T4.
