http://www.spiderfan.org/characters/sandman.html If you watched the cartoon and remember Hydro-Man, it's basically the same principle, except with sand instead of water. Spidey used a vacuum cleaner to defeat him in their first encounter.
but that would be so spiderman. he usually gets his ass kicked and then comes up with some smart way to take care of it.
There was a pretty cool sequence where Doc Ock turned Sandman into glass once. Given the mortality rate of Spider-Man villains on film, I wouldn't be surprised if he went out that way.
I'm not a huge fan of Venom. I think the better story is the period of time when Peter Parker was wearing the symbiote and had to deal with the temptions of abusing greater power.
Would anybody be interested in a spiderman-off. Toby vs. Garfield vs. the new kid. Certainly could be done. I would watch even if it stretches the 4th wall a bit.
Loved Tobey in Spiderman 1 and 2. Spiderman 3 was painfully bad. So bad that I will give the nod to the new kid over him. Never wanted or desired to see Garfield as Spiderman. Think it's best if we all pretend that never happened.
I saw Spiderman 3...hated it...got home and watched the Jazz beat the Rockets in the first round of the playoffs. Not great, Bob. Not great.
Toby basically ruined spiderman for me........to the point that I don't think I saw any of the Garfield ones. But I REALLY like the new kid. He's great on his own and his dynamic with Ironman is awesome.
Can we stop with the new kid? It's Tom Holland folks. He's clearly the better spidey. And by now you should know his name over Garfield and Toby
Sandman alone would have been a good character had Sony allowed Raimi to do his own movie but they forced him to shoehorn venom in, which is just crazy because the venom storyline is a trilogy in and of itself
