I'm sure many of the MST3K movies would apply, so I have to include Mitchell and Ator and the Cave dwellers.

Also gotta include Hell comes to Frogtown, although that may be classefied as a cult hit. It was REALLY bad, though.

I was going to cite that one too, but didn't want Rocketman95 to think I was picking on Kurt Russell.

It's not Kurt Russell that's being picked on, it's John Carpenter.

Both "Big Trouble in Little China" and "They Live" (mentioned earlier) were meant to be campy and ridiculous. They succeeded in what they wanted to do. It's like saying "Airplane" should be on this list.

They weren't "so bad they're good", they were just plain good.

Now there are some crappy John Carpenter movies out there (Escape from LA comes to mind) but those two weren't part of them.

    The Swarm

Here's a pretty good take on it:

"Yeah fair enough , this is reckoned to be the worst disaster movie ever . Agreed there`s some really terrible acting involved with Michael Caine either OTT or totally wooden from scene to scene with the kid playing Paul giving a " I`m really terrified because I`m waving my head from side to side and saying no, no , no an awful lot " acting style . That said I do have a soft spot for THE SWARM because it is rather enjoyable due to the lapses in logic and science , and who can fail to be emoured by the laughable dialogue like " We`ve been losing the war against the insects for 15 years but I`d never thought it`d be the bees - They`ve always been our friends " or " Has this nuclear power plant made any provisions against killer bees " ? Don`t take it so seriously and you might just enjoy it"

Good one. Another cult classic, though.

When I first saw the trailer and commercials for Master of Disguise, I thought it was going to be so bad it would be good. But alas it was just bad. :(

    I re-submit:
    Dolemite
    Evil Dead II

    I remove:
    Army of Darkness
By that time, they knew it wasn't scary, it was more hokey. And they capitalized on that.

Is that the one with Breckin Meyer and Nia Peeples? Classic!

There is an actual movie that is the only answer to this thread, it was that bad.

"Once Upon A Time In Mexico"

This just might be the worst thing ever made. It was the most unbelievable thing I ever had the misfortune of witnessing. I mean that in a totally horrible, bad, bad way. The things that Ban Deras did, the fact that Depp was walking around all fine and everything after just having his eyes taken out.... Then, there's the point where he shot the dude's legs and they crumbled like twigs. I also liked how Salma Hayek was billed as being one of the stars when she was in it for maybe a minute.

The reason is it's good is because my friend and I were laughing our asses off in the theatre after we realized it's crapiness. It was fantastically funny how bad some of the action stuff and special effects were.
