Watching THE GREAT DEBATERS - Simple seeing Denzel Washington and Forrest Whittaker on screen together was Great. I find them to be EXTRAORDINARY Actors. It was just very nice to watch. Others that come to mind are Pachino and Deniro - Heat Cosby and Portier - Uptown Saturday Night, Let's do it Again [<-- WHY THE H*LL CAN'T COSBY MAKE MOVIES LIKE THAT ANYMORE!!!! ] What others do you like seeing together on the Big Screen Rocket River . . . . . you can even put your Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan commentary *grin*
Tom Hanks and Meg Ryan are the best movie duo ever in my opinion if what you want is to roll your eyes and change the channel. Anyway, DeNiro & Pacino is a great one. Who can forget the Governator and the Penguin? (Twins)
Older Ones ------------------------ Redford and Newman Lemmon and Mathau Tracy and Hepburn O'Neal (R.) and O'Neal (T) Poltier and Cosby Smith and Lawerence Damon and Affleck Clooney and Lopez (I can't believe put in Jennifer Lopez on great list, beyond behinds)
naomi watts and the other chic in "mulholland drive" the best duo franchise was probably mel/danny "lethal weapon"
They shot their scenes separately in that movie because of some fued they had back then. Take a close look at the dinner scene and you'll notice they are never in same shot together.
Abbot and Costello. Mods, please close this thread. I was just about to mention this. They may have pulled folks into the theaters to see it, but they were never together... I mean, they shot each other, but that didn't make the movie.
How could I forget that one!!!?!?!?!??! That is by far one of the greatest Comedic Teams Rocket River
Didn't Pacino and DeNiro only have like 2 scenes together in Heat (3 if you count the gun battle outside of the bank)? And I believe before that they never acted opposite eachother. This new movie of theirs will be the first time they are actually acting together throughout an entire movie.
