Not much to go by but kind of cheesy no? Gambit looks promising. Is this a prequel? Or a revisitation of the past set in the present? Anyways, Jackman def went all out in the roids department for this one. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/8ZXh9rYdA7s&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/8ZXh9rYdA7s&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> I get the feeling everyone involved was pumped while filming this, thinking it would be a blockbuster for sure. Then Iron Man and Batman actually come out and crap on their parade.
And this one too. Why a not... the Wolvie Orgins movie looks good, I was as excited as those people to see Gambit, damn I only wish he was part of the Trilogy
What's with the 300 music? Looks good though, but I'm wondering when will the comic book genre get exhausted by the film industry.
Who knows but at least for the time being it looks like they finally got the formula down for a good movie when it comes to this genre.

I don't have anything against Wolverine but i always thought him to be more bland than most. I would rather see someone else take a stab at an X-men movie.
Jackman and his body drove the decision to make this movie, not the Wolverine, who isn't really that great of a character. The ladies on my job can't discuss Jackman without salivating. I have no desire to see this at all.
Part 2 of the trailer: <object width="450" height="378"><param name="movie" value="http://www.traileraddict.com/emb/5713"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.traileraddict.com/emb/5713" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" allowscriptaccess="always" width="450" height="378"></embed></object>
I spotted Gambit, Blob, Silverfox, Deadpool in addition to Wolverine and Sabertooth. Not sure who the silver bald chick is- maybe it's Silverfox? I never caught what her powers were.
Its not just the movies. Wolverine is pretty much the face of X-men. I remember when the animated series was out some people were actually calling him X-man. I just never found him more interesting than the other characters. I would go to see it just for Gambit, though.
Also, Wolverine easily has the most spin-off comic titles of any X-Men. I also feel he's a bit cliche, but he's got the most detailed history of all the X-Men (due to all the spin-offs) to get material from for a solo movie.
Yeah, that was my point - further evidence of how popular he is as a solo character. All those Wolverine titles wouldn't be made if there wasn't a market for them.
I think you are talking about Emma Frost who somehow gained the ability to turn her skin into Diamond over the years. On the Wolvie hate: I NEVER liked him. Never. Until I read the right stuff. When he written by a decent story teller Wolverine is great. Especially in a more reserved role. I don't like him carrying his own title, or even his own story (except for the occasional Omega Red type adventure), but when he is used like he should be he comes off great.
Wolverine has always been my favorite comic book character and I was really looking foward to this movie but this trailer didn't look all that impressive to me.
I'd like to see them reboot the X Men franchise rather than seeing these spinoffs (Wolverine and Magneto). Let's face it, two was the only great movie of that franchise...one was serviceable and three was pretty horrible. I do credit the franchise in reviving comic-adaptations. But the X Men universe deserves more. You don't need to start completely over; not another origin story...just do a reboot/sequel hybrid like Hulk and take on the Phoenix Saga or Days of Future Past.
Name me a movie trailer that doesn't have a bunch of opera music behind fast cut actions sequences... I can't. Or a sudden silence with a character randomly whispering "Oh my god..." We need a preview renaissance. The cut and dried format is getting stale. But especially the opera music they put behind every movie. I'll probably see the movie out of loyalty to my inner 10 year old, but I don't expect a masterpiece. Hugh Jackman doesn't do that great of a job with the character. He just yells a lot but there doesn't seem to be a real animal intensity behind any of it. I'm surprised they didn't bring back Tyler Mane to reprise his masterful performance!
Two reasons I'll go see it, even if it sucks: 1. Marvel 2. Hugh Jackman I'll go see any movie if it fits one of those criteria, so this one - big hit with me.
