[movie trailer] Street Fighter - Legend of Chun Li

Exactly what I was thinking, it just has a really cheap feel to it, can't be worse than the original, I don't think....

 

Anyone else like to Chun her Li?

You know one wonders why they don't just do an update/sequel of the animated movie; the characters and costumes would work much better in that medium anyway. Make it CG or use motion-capture technology...now that would be pretty bad ass, even if the story completely falls flat, at least it would be pretty to look at (FF: Spirits Within).

the only movie that reminded me of street fighter the arcade game was Lion Heart.You can say blood sport to some extent, but the setting never changed. I wonder why movies based on video games tend to be...not enjoyable? mortal kombat was actually good.

And kristen is back on smallville! there is a love triangle now with erica, who i think is way hotter not that i still watch or anything.

 

I fully believe that there are two great relatively untapped resources from which to make good movies:

1) Comic books

and

2) Video games

Fortunately, Hollywood is starting to figure out #1. As far as #2 goes....I'm kinda "meh" at this.
