I don't know. I was excited about it before. Now it just looks a little hokey.

yea i feel the same way....but they're supposed to be so many GOOD movies coming out this summer, or so it seems (fingers crossed)

I think X men first class will take the cake, but some other ones are

    -cowboys and aliens
    -super 8
    -green lantern
    -transformers 3
-Harry Potter and the deathly hallows part 2

    Bioshock---WTF????
    Bourne 4
    Mission Impossible -4
    Rambo 5
Terminator 5 (have high hopes for this one)
    The Hobbit

and damn it, they pushed Underworld 4 to january of next year :mad:

Huh? Rambo 5 isn't even in development, T5 is listed at imdb for 2014 and the first hobbit just started filming with a tentative release date of dec 2012.

This movie is going to suck so hard. It looks like a complete joke.

I've always gotten the sense rather it was painting or a Marvel/DC comic, Thor was a rather large man, regardless if he was a Nordic Blonde or a heavy set guy with an orange beard.

    It will suck.

I can't believe Sir Hopkins accepted a role in this. :(

Not too excited about it. I'm sure I'll go see it, but I think Green Lantern and Captain America look like they're going to be more entertaining.

I'm confused, are you talking about Hemsworth being small? He's 6'3 I believe...

As for the movie, I'll check it out but not expecting much. This, Green Lantern and Captain America could all go horribly bad very easily.....

Jesus Christ, you're right! How the hell did they manage to make him look so small in all the trailers?

Would have been more interested if it was Eric from True Blood.

He would have had to pack on some serious muscle.

I agree that he would have been a better casting choice. He's Nordic to the bone and speaks...Swedish?

Not only that, they would be capitalizing on his current upwardly mobile celebrity status.

Ah well. They should have cast Sawyer as Gambit in Wolverine, but it didn't happen. Can't change the past.

Has Kenneth Branagh directed any action flicks? I only know of his Shakespeare stuff. Will this be another cerebral attempt like the Ang Lee and the Hulk?

He did Mary Shelly's Frankenstein with Robert DeNiro. It wasn't an "action" movie, but it certainly had action in it and was pretty epic in its scale, if memory serves. I haven't seen it in forever, but I remember liking it.
