This movie looks freaking spectacular so far. It's like they are using the graphic novel as the story board for the movie.

So they can sell them to other studios, or just wait until the right actor, director, market demand for a similar product comes along. I wish I could work in a movie studio.

They pretty much are. Why not, it worked for Zach Snyder when he made 300.

Hmmm, I thought "300" and "V" were both damn entertaining.........
60 and 73 on RT so the majority liked'em....
    Movie snobs up in here?

    On the other hand......
None of these hold a candle to Sin City as far as I am concerned.......

Anything with Carla Gugino's bare breasts is going to one up most other movies.

Heck yeah it's R rated. There was no way they could have made a faithful adaptation with anything less. Movie spoiler explanation below.

You've got a brutal rape scene, a pretty gruesome sequence when Rorshach really BECOMES Rorschach, a pregnant women getting shot, and old man getting beaten to death, millions and millions of innocent people dying in the end, and lots and LOTS of swinging blue ****. And that doesn't even mention just the regular sex scenes between Silk Spectre and Night Owl which I'm sure will contain some nudity. Yeah, this is rated R.

I haven't read any reviews or any info due to spoilers. But does anyone know if the chapter where Manhattan recalls his past is redone in the movie? Where his mind bounces from past/present/future from panel to panel.

I hope so, I wonder how they would bring that to the screen. It was one of my favorite parts of the story

Ya. If they adapt that even somewhat accurately then I will be impressed.
