I've never heard of these killings and I live out here in the Friendswood/Pearland area. Movie looks good but I'm sure its more Hollywood than truth. Will watch nonetheless.

During the time when Dean Corll was killing all those boys my older brother was about 13. At the time, we lived just off S. Post Oak road, which was logical route to take out to the boat shed where the bodies were buried. My brother was walking down Post Oak road one day and just about to turn into our subdivision, when a van with three guys in it pulled up next to him. They asked him if he wanted a ride. He was a budding little hippie and would have accepted if he hadn't been so close to home. As it was, he declined, and walked into our neighborhood.

When Corll and the others were caught, my brother saw their pictures and the van they were using for abductions. He's about 99% sure it was Corll and his buddies that offered him a ride that day.

I don't recall someone with that name. Someone break out an old Clear Lake High School yearbook for 1986 (junior class) and scan/post his pic. lol

the history channel did a piece on the i 45 corridor as a whole between houston and galveston on the number of people who have gone missing.

also up until recently galveston was home of the worst natural disaster in us history and texas city was home to the worst industrial disaster in us history

I knew Jessica Cain. Her boyfriend at the time of her disappearance is a really good friend and an attorney here in Houston. Very sad story. :(

I used to hang out with John Drew in high school. Would have never thought he turned out like this. I graduated in '91, so he was a senior with me or a class behind me. So if you want to check it out, check either class of '91 or '92. Sent chills up my spine to know he is a murderer and we used to hang out together.

    Texas Killing Movie

Soo...is this movie about the possible I-45 killers, Johnathon Drew or both? I have a personal interest in the Johnathon Drew case and would really like to know.

It's not about Johnathon Drew. He started his killing long after the events in this movie

It says the movie came out yesterday but its not playing anywhere in the Houston area. What is up with that? I tried searching online and someone said its only playing in NYC and LA.

Awesome... I live literally less than a mile away. Can't wait to take the scenic route home from the movie cause there's no way I'm watching it from home.
