Also, while I appreciated Ang Lee's attempt to take on the Peter David psychological stuff, that movie on the whole was a mess. Only appealing to fanboys. Between the two films, the only thing I'd take from the 1st and put into the second would be Jennifer Connely.

Daddy Banner becoming Absorbing Man, and the Gamma Dawg Pound....ugh.

I don't think Marvel is doing the new Punisher. Marvel doesn't have the rights to a lot of its heroes. I heard they just extended the Spiderman license, maybe X-Men too. So they are out of the question. Its a weird situation, for example Toy Biz is a partner with Marvel, they used to make their action figures. The partnership still exists but Toy Biz doesn't even make Marvel toys, they make another comic company's toys while Hasbro does Marvel. I don't get it.

Good point - they did sell their souls to stave off bankruptcy in the 90s. Fantastic Four and X-Men belong to Fox, Spiderman to Sony, Blade to New Line, etc. Still can;t believe we're getting a third Punisher attempt.
