huh? I knew that before even going into the movie as did the majority of people. Besides even if it is a spoiler, this is a movie thread and people that haven't seen it should stay away. Regardless though, if I did spoiler something, sorry to anybody that saw it.
Should have played this song in the last scenes with Gwen. <iframe width="420" height="315" src="//www.youtube.com/embed/9RbcR_KSRB8" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
Anyone who complains that it was too much like twilight must not have read any of the comics. Spider-man has always about the balancing act of being a superhero and having relationships or trying to have relationships with people in his life. The death of Gwen Stacy in the comic books was considered by many readers as an end to a comic book era.
Yea but this movie sucked at capturing that side except Gwen's death which was pretty cool. Nonetheless, I am optimistic about the sequel and Insidious 6 spin off.
Positive: Great chemistry between Emma and Andrew Negative: Too long And the X-Men clip at the end sucked. Speaking of which, if they show the trailer for X-Men, I suggest that you don't watch it. It pretty much gives away the entire ****ing plot line. I feel like I don't have to watch it any more.
True. I am just looking for generic feedback thus far. Just because the thread is titled on a particular subject does not mean that you should be giving away spoilers, especially considering the movie just came out. It is just flat out dicky to not give a bit of a grace period before giving major plot details. Not everyone has time to see a movie the first weekend it comes out And for clarification purposes I don't know what was "spoiled" I'm only reacting to the comments of said spoiler.
Garfield and Stone really do have great chemistry and its a million times better than the sappy scenes between Maguire and Dunst. The movie was a bit long but I enjoyed it nonetheless so i'm looking forward to the next installment. P.S. Kinda bummed how Rhino turned out.
Raimi's films weren't very good, IMO. I only enjoyed the 1st one and they got progressively worse. I liked The Amazing Spiderman, but this wasn't nearly as good. I agree they tried to do too much as they were trying to set up the Sinister Six. It was like taking 2 movies and trying to combine them into one.
Why would you be bummed how he turned out? I thought it was great how they showed where they were going with it. It was more of an introduction to a character, who will be fleshed out later on in the series. The Green Goblin though. Spider-man taking on the Sinister Six.
It was good but nothing amazing about it. time for a remake! I would cast jimmy fallon as peter parker in a H.S band.
Decidedly average. I thought the SFX were great, and the acting was nice. But the plot, writing, directing...just ugh.
Really wanted to like the film but after I thought about it more and more it was just bad. Garfield and Stone are really good in the roles but the movie kept reminding me of Batman Forever which isn't a good thing....
Agreed with the "too long" part. I kept checking the time to see when it'll be over lol, it kept dragging and dragging
