So... you kidnapped the guys daughter for a simple ransom and as a result he tortures and kills all of your henchmen, running through them like a hot knife through butter, pretty much outclassing your entire organization. And this pisses you off so much that your plan is to kidnap his daughter and his wife in order to get him to surrender himself? Doesn't seem to make much sense from the bad guy's point of view. If I'm the bad guy, I think I've learned that the plan should be to either go after the guy directly, or leave him alone.
From the trailer and what's implied on the poster it looks like they go after him and his whole family. From what I've read it's not simply the same scenario again like the Die Hards. Whether or not that's the case we'll see.
I wonder if the daughter will randomly run again for no reason, and the villians will get darker at each step in the process. Kidding aside it's actually good to see that Neeson still has the heart to make movies; just a bad, random deal all around.
Just rewatched Taken, and is the character he's supposed to be playing an American? Good luck trying to guess Brian's heritage based on that accent. Good luck. Also didn't realize that was Shannon from Lost.
GREAT MOVIE. I was impressed *that's what SHE said*. I liked the fighting sequences and the different cinematography, and how most of the movie took place at night or in the dark with dark outfits, little to no lighting, hence a "dark" theme behind the story... it enhanced it richly. THANK YOU SO MUCH, sir. You rock.
Why don't the bad guys just kill the good guy's family already? Kill them in their sleep, don't tell anybody, good guy suffers without knowing who did it, ???, profit.
It happened in a Mexican classic "federales" movie named El Judicial, but I won't tell you how it ends. There IS a movie.
Glad you enjoyed it... Saw this in theaters awhile back without knowing too much about the movie, was blown away just like you are...
I think the real conflict is what will be the new "karaoke machine" of the new movie? Any guesses? iPad, Kindle Fire, Justin Bieber CD?
i imagine they couldn't make this film unless Liam's character talks to the perps on a cell phone first with some more magical words of how he's going to find them. can't wait to see what the line is this time.

Lol this will end up being an endless revenge story of both sides endlessly going after one another for movies to come.
LOL what a horrible turd I almost left a few times mid movie but my friends held me until almost the end... there are so many things wrong with this movie, I am not gonna even spend a second discussing it..the first part was just ruined by this huge pile of chit
I thought it was entertaining even though it was just more of the same. I kept waiting for something else to happen but then it was over. Felt like a short movie.
