Which is your choice for Ursa?

I think Eve and Pike strike me as a bit too warm and pleasant for the part. I'd go with Kruger: she's a decent actress and seems very capable of playing cold-hearted.

Wow, 2012 is looking to be the most EPIC year for superhero movies ever.

Superman, Spiderman, and Wolverine reboots, along with the Dark Knight Rises and the Avengers.

If the world truly does end next year, that’s one hell of a way to go out.

Ursa is one of my all-time favorite villains, she was a cold-hearted and basically merciless...LOVE IT. Give me Kruegar for the part, the other two would make good Supergirls thus automatically disqualified for Ursa.

I still hope they do a Brainiac arc for the trilogy, Zod/Ursa in the first, Metallo for the 2nd and Bizarro for the 3rd. All three could be pulled off without going to crazy with the storyline and Brainiac would be a good leader. Luthor should be included as another villain but not as the main focus, we've seen enough of him in Superman movies. He should be handled like Maroni and Falcone were handled in Nolan's Batverse.

I probably already posted something like this in this thread but I so don't care about Braniac or Luthor or Metallo or even the Kryptonian Phantom Zone villains like Zod, Ursa or Non. And I definitely don't care for Doomsday or Darkseid.

It would be amazing if they would use one or more of Superman's more complex, weird or whimsical enemies like Bizarro, Mr. Mxyzptlk or Terra-Man. To use Bizarro, according to the story in the comic books, they'd also need to use Luthor. But the Luthor that created Bizarro is much more interesting to me than the bland one bent on world domination.

Here is some footage of the Superman Reboot movie!

    <object style="height: 390px; width: 640px"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/f5Pjo0WjBcs?version=3"><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"><param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always"><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/f5Pjo0WjBcs?version=3" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowfullscreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" width="640" height="390"></object>

Why bother having American studios make superhero movies when we can get awesomeness like this by outsourcing!

You have to include Brainiac and Darkseid to conclude with pure awesomeness. Lois Lane has to die by the hands of Braniac and Darkseid which forces Supes to lose control. He dives to the core of the Sun to transform into an ass-kicking Diety.

    Braniac/Darkseid vs Ultra Superman

Most epic fight of ALL TIME!!

Interesting news, so Pa Kent is alive in this version? This is sounding more and more like Birthright.

I read somewhere that WB is getting irritated with Snyder. He's been paying more attention to the 300 sequel and the Wb execs are pissed.

Agreed very much. Even his name sounds like a villain.

This has me giddy, Viggo as Zod has the makings of an all-time great villain. IF they go with the alien invasion angle from Birthright, this could be EPIC.
