I started watching the last trailer but had to cut it off because it started showing too much awesomeness and I didn't want to be spoiled. I hope this movie lives up to the hype.
Yeah, they are showing too much on the trailer. I'm way too hyped to see this movie and can only be let down. lol.
I know the feeling, after two middle of the road blockbuster (IM3 and Trek) I'm really hoping this delivers. First trailers didn't do much for me but these last few look really good and I've never been much fo a Superman fan.
I actually liked the earlier trailers more. This recent one makes it seem like it's a remake of the end of Avengers.

Reading the spoiler synopsis of Krypton, I wonder how they're going to fit all this story into 2 hrs 20 minutes.
Now for the bigger question. How does Superman wipe his ass? Clearly no type of toilet paper or any paper at that could wipe away them strong shiz.
From rcoleman15's provided spoiler link: Spoiler "They secure the survival of Kal-El by sending him to planet Earth, convinced that his only chance to truly be free is to escape the shadows of Krypton and be embraced as a true human, with human surrogate parents." I wonder why that is. No idea of Superman mythos, but is there something special about humans?
Ehh, I don't know about. The "only chance to truly be free" quote is a bit strange. Also, "embraced as a true human?" Hmm. I'm sure they'll touch on this in the movie.
A few posts ago I posted these Krypton spoilers from the MOS Guidebook... Spoiler So here's pretty much all of the known information that was gathered from the scans (MOS Guidebook) that were released online a few hours ago. Warning, in case if people don't want to be spoiled about some aspects of the film... Krypton was once an advanced civilization that explored the cosmos, but they became stagnant and abandoned their endeavors. After reducing the surface to a barren wasteland from excessively mining it for resources, they retreated to the underground, in Kandor City. With the Kryptonians retreating into Kandor City, Krypton's fauna and flora has spread through the planet, with the most dangerous predator being the massive Rondor Beast. There is also the H'Raka, a flying dragonfly-esque creature bred by to be used as transportation by the few Kryptonians who dare to venture outside. Kryptonians have long abandoned natural conception, which has grown to become a crime, and genetically engineer their children through the Genesis Chamber. Each child is conditioned to submit to one of the Guilds in which Kryptonian society is divided, a process decided by the genetic information contained in the Growth Codex, which is protected by advanced amphibious automatons called "Aquabots". Krypton's caste system includes the Science Guild, the Warrior Guild, the Artisan Guild, the Laborer Guild and the Mediator Guild, among others. Ruling above all Kryptonians is The Council, a decadent group of representatives of each Guild, who reunite at the Chamber Room in the center of Kandor City, a place filled with glyphs that detail Krypton's history throughout the centuries. The Council is protected by a elite team of soldiers loyal to them, the Sapphire Guard. There's no metal in Krypton. Their entire biotechnological architecture is based on bone marrow Jor-El is a rebellious member of the Science Guild, perhaps as insane as his peers believe him to be, who was renounced Kandor City to live with his beloved wife, Lara Lor-Van, in an observatory in the outskirts of Kandor City, in the surface, where Jor-El devots himself to the ideals of science. With the looming destruction of Krypton, Jor-El and Lara decive to give their heir the gift of freedom and risk their own to have a natural birth. They secure the survival of Kal-El by sending him to planet Earth, convinced that his only chance to truly be free is to escape the shadows of Krypton and be embraced as a true human, with human surrogate parents. Zod believes that The Coucil is no longer fit to rule Krypton, and creates a revolutionary movement, the "Sword of Rao", to overthrow the government. Zod means to rule Krypton and restore the superior bloodlines of the past. His followers include Faora, Jax-Ur, Nam-Ek, Tor-An, Dev-Em and Vanova, among others. Faora is Zod's loyal second-in-command, bred to be a ruthless warrior that revels in violence, which she considers her true gratification. Known as "The Tigress of Zod", Faora's only moment of emotional vulnerability is witnessing the death of her homeworld. Nam-Ek is a brutal warrior, massive and silent, programmed from birth to take orders without hesitation. He is the most powerful of Zod's army. Jax-Ur is a manipulative scientist, once a member of the Science Guild associated to the Genesis Chamber, who swore loyalty to Zod in exchange for test subjects for his unethical genetic experiments and the chance of achieve more and more knowledge. Jor-El and Zod are old friends, and Zod reguards Jor-El as a mentor, regretting that the revolution has placed them in opposite sides. Zod's revolution fails, and he and his men are imprisioned in the Black Zero, an ancient spaceship, which is then banished to the extradiomensional realm of the Phantom Zone, acessible through a portal created by three satellites stationed in Krypton's strathosphere. However, Krypton's destruction allows Zod to commander the ship and escape with his men and the remains of the Genesis Chamber to search for a new world to colonize and build a stronger Krypton. The Fortress of Solitude is an ancient Kryptonian scout ship that departed to explore the cosmos and crash-landed in the Artic, hundreds of years ago. It is eventually found by Clark Kent, who uses the Command Key left to him by Jor-El to activate the scout ship. Inside, Clark interacts with a holographic projection of his father. The ship was once captained by Clark's ancestor, and his undersuit becomes the uniform Clark will use as a symbol of truth and justice. The ship is eventually activated and rises out of the ocean, placing itself atop a mountaintop, as a symbol of the union of Krypton and Earth. At one point, Zod tortures the captive Superman with a mental projection of Earth enslaved under Superman's rule. Clad in a black uniform, not unlike Zod's own, Superman observes as his tyranny results in the extinction of the human race, and himself buried under a pile of skulls of all those he has massacred. Jor-El and Lara's clothes are simpler than the ornate robes and headgear of the The Council, to emphasize their rebelious and future-striving mentality in opposition to the backward ways of The Council. Kryptonians have robotic servants, "House Bots". Worn out from years of use and on the verge of no longer being operation, the droids have an undying loyalty to their masters. Jor-El's are Kelex and Kelor. Metropolis is located in the Eastern Seabord, near Norfolk, Virginia. The Daily Planet no longer has the globe atop their building, which is now represented by a globe at the lobby For those that want to view the 58 pics/scans that these spoilers were garnered from here is a link to those pics/scans.
