We'll see how it goes. Aside from the absurd mysteries, there was a lot of built in humor that I'm not sure they'll capture without it becoming slapstick and silly. This is one of those things where good writing and directing will make or break it. The whole value of the books was the mysteries plus the subtle (and many times not so subtle) comedy.

LOL. After reading your comment, and then watching the trailer, it's spot on. I keep thinking of all those shooter games we see advertising constantly too. But in this case, you would have a little white dog that runs along side of you, at the bottom of the screen, and goes and eats some of the splattered flesh you shoot off of other people.
