Yeah, all this commotion over a kid's movie that was meant to be a product placement piece in the first place.
Lebaby is horrible. But this is an interesting view. I forgot how much I loved Tex Avery's voice in older cartoons. Sad fact. The Beaky Buzzard was voiced by a 19 year old whe ended up dying in WWII at 21.
Space Jam vs Space Jam 2 with Korey Coleman from Double Toasted who actually worked and drew on the original Space Jam. Also Korey is a fellow Texan. Korey liked Space Jam 2 btw.
Y'all are missing out on this old school ****. It's hilarious & meant for adults, albeit your grandparents.
I'm a parent and have watched all kinds of kids movies and this was neither a good kids movie nor was it a good sequel/remake of an old IP. The script was poor, the acting was bad (except for Sonequa Martin-Green who was probably the only one that knew how to act) and the slurpfest for LeBron was nauseating. The one thing I got out of this movie is that since LeBron and I are around the same age, he must have watched Hook over and over like I have because this was a complete ripoff of that movie.
I hung in for 45 min. Then my son finished it as the visual sedative did its work and I soundly fell asleep on the couch.
my 6 year old lasted 10 minutes and then left. i don't blame her because the first 10 minutes was a pseudo Lebron documentary.
I took it as a lesson m, that putting the games down do work. Get paid be a business mogul as well. Wait no... black kids can do more than play sports it’s ok to design video games too!! Horrible. Puke
Tomato fresh meter: Space Jam 1 - 44% critics, 63% user Space Jam 2 - 31% critics, 81% user. The sequel seems to have a wider gap.
I have HBO Max right now (so it's free), still hesitant to click on it, coz WB might mistake me from liking Lebron. Little curious about the other NBA stars though, maybe one day if I get bored
I can understand being ambivalent to Lebron but hating him and calling him a POS? It's sad that I can predict your political leanings from that take.
One thing going for the sequel.... Lebron is a better actor than Jordan. Jordan on the big screen you can tell is trying to act while Lebron seems more natural acting.
