The writers had returned for Saw 4. I'm sure it took them a cool 2 weeks to write the script like the other three movies. Not that it's bad. I enjoyed all of these films.
Oh you're right, new writers, my bad. But at least they're still exec producers according to Wiki and IMDB.
i heard the 3 movies didnt cost more than 2 mil to make...and they make about 50 mil the first weekend
I buy tickets, they're entertaining. All horror movies have a rediculous amount of sequels, this is nothing new. I mean, how many Friday the 13ths are there?
Hadn't heard that. I guess it could continue III with the guy looking for his kid with still more traps jigsaw had set.
I thought that a couple weeks ago but ia saw this on imbd http://imdb.com/title/tt0890870/plotsummary
saw this a while ago made me laugh <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/uBDCgUnmaYw"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/uBDCgUnmaYw" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
Saw cost 1.2 to make, made 18 million opening weekend, 55 in the US over 100 million when you add foreign sales. That's some serious return. Saw II cost 4 million, made 31 million opening weekend, 87 million in the US and 147 million total worldwide. Saw III cost 10 million, made 33 million opening weedend, 80 million domestic, 164 million total. I don't know what the marketing costs have been, but that's 15.2 million to make 3 movies that have brought in $414 million. I've never watched any of them, these torture p*rn movies like Saw and Hostel aren't my thing, but the Saw movies keep making good money.
If people keep buying tickets, there is nothing to stop them from making more movies. Especially if they get that much return on them.
when watching the trailer, it reminded me of Raid's Yao mix in which he told me he got the song from Saw <object width="425" height="350"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/GBIFGeGlbzk"></param><param name="wmode" value="transparent"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/GBIFGeGlbzk" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent" width="425" height="350"></embed></object>
