I'm in Morocco. I was visiting Ait-Ben-Haddou, which is a World Heritage site with an active Hollywood filming location right next to it. They filmed Lawrence of Arabia there and a bunch of other stuff. They had just finished shooting for Gladiator 2 a week before I visited. They took 5 months to build sets and shot for 2 days, the guide told me.

 

i hope netflix is involved

I would love to go Morocco and Tunisia.

 

If you go and you think you'd like to camp in the Sahara but it's summer and 112 degrees and the tour guide salesman assures you they have it all figured out and it won't be a problem -- don't believe him.

Well, I lived to tell the tale anyway. But it wasn't the best part of the trip.

Ugh..... why does Hollywood love to present rhinos as animals that can be saddled and ridden like a horse? The moment I saw that in the trailer, it lost me.

Also...Denzel has made some good movies in the past, but now he just looks cheesy.

You are not. And I tried. I really tried to not like it. I'm so afraid it's going to be garbage.

But that trailer was pretty fire.

 

Don’t like the urbanization of the Gladiator series. That Kanye crap sucks.
