It might be a 15 year old article on the island? Or is it?

It seems like the equity in his endings is reliant on connecting the characters flaws and motivations with the ending. 6th and unbreakable had endings that entangled with the character flaws and motivations. Signs was a good movie, but lacked some connective tissue. The other movies never connected.

Do that, and then explore the twist in order to raise a deeper question. Unfortunately, that never seems to happen.

Although I’ve not seen this film, would think the idea to explore would be the psych of someone who chooses a different life path, foregoing the norms, like getting a wife, getting a home, having children, because frankly, these people don’t have the time to do all of that making it meaningless…or is it? And what are the consequences of those different life choices. Time isn’t a circle, or a line. It’s a dot. I would want to walk away exploring all three.

Them finding young Murph was so lame as was the wormhole and putting the movie in the Interstellar universe.
