Listen to the reviews when they are this terrible. Now, dumb little girls all over the country will ignore bad reviews. Twilight can get you laid, but I don't **** with jail bait.
Back when I was in high school, the only movie that had that much effect on teenage girls the way New Moon did was Titanic.. That movie was awesome and a historic one at that.. What a fruity generation they have become...
LMFAO!!!! "New Moon” opens with Bella, on the eve of her 18th birthday, having an anxiety dream about getting old while her immortal boyfriend, Edward, stays young. A legitimate worry, to be sure, but she follows it up with a declaration that she’s already old at 18. This is something that teenagers and people in their early 20s like to do, and it drives older folks absolutely ****ing nuts. Bella is actually a pretty typical teenager in a lot of ways, none of them positive. She constantly ignores the sound advice that more experienced people give her, choosing to do the rash thing at every turn. She sneaks out. She makes ridiculous declarations like “I don’t really like music” just to sound rebellious. She treats the nice boys terribly, always opting to make time with the troublemakers instead. This is the ***** that new parents worry about when they learn they’re having girls. And, for some reason, this character is serving as a role model for teenage girls all over the world. Excuse me while I go have a panic attack. http://www.filmthreat.com/index.php?section=reviews&Id=12005

Wow... the fact that for any reason this garbage is mentioned in the same sentence as The Dark Knight is pathetic. I guess the "fat lonely women" demographic is stronger than anyone could have imagined.
What's most concerning to me about this is how many girls in their mid to late twenties who go crazy over this movie and they all have crushes on these teenage boys. I have a group of girl (friends) who are in their late 20's and they are all giddy and obsessed with these baby faced teenage boys in this movie. And some of these girls are teachers. I blame it on birth control pills, see this study: Women on Pill Shun 'Manly Men' for 'Boys' Women have been on the pill for so long that its impact on their hormones may have significantly reduced their attraction to "manly men" in favor of more boyish males, say researchers. Forty years of contraception use could explain the change in Hollywood idols from tough guys like Jimmy Cagney and Anthony Quinn to "prettier" stars like Johnny Depp and Brad Pitt, say observers. "There are obvious benefits of the pill, but there is also the possibility that the pill has psychological side effects that we are only just discovering," a researcher tells the Daily Mail. Scientists have long known that a woman's tastes change during her menstrual cycle. Typically, during her most fertile days a woman is attracted to assertive males with very masculine features. But the pill eliminates those days, and women are more likely to always be attracted to men with more feminine faces and caring personalities, studies have found. http://www.newser.com/story/71225/women-on-pill-shun-manly-men-for-boys.html
why now, the vampires are so cool? and with the twilight euforia, now we have more things related to vampires, like "The vampire diaries" and some stuff? I dont understand the hype about this.
clutchfans "if it's popular, we'll rip it" i suppose yall are a bunch of grown men bashing a whimsical romance movie with added hype atta boy~
I don't understand this whole vampire phenom crap... This whole vampire thing has been out since the 17 century and why all of a sudden now it's getting this enormous amount of coverage? Now I can see why female teachers are sleeping with these young boy teenagers, because of this illusion and fantasy that is in a woman's head...
I guess we should expect an uptick in teacher-student improper relationships then...on top of all the ones that have already occurred in the past. I would also expect the lady neighbors to be going after their neighbors' six pack male sons as well. This movie could be abused with or without power tools like a p*rn tape. Be careful with whom you open your whispering eye to, ladies.
