Looks OK... who is the guy talking saying he's not a terrorist? Is it Guy Pearce? And who is Guy Pearce in that movie? Or was it Ben Kingsley (The Mandarin) talking because it sounds nothing like him. Who is the guy in the Iron Man suit with a little blue? Still Stark?
The guy doing the Voice over is Ben Kingsley aka Mandarin. The Blue suit looks like war machine aka Rhodes. My guesses. Guy Pearce is probably the bad guy from a corporate angle that helps out Mandarin, kind of like Sam Rockwell from part 1.
My guess is that Guy Pearce is playing Obidiah Stane's (Iron Monger from the first movie) son, Ezekiel "Zeke" Stane.
Pearce is indeed a villain in this installment and will be portraying the character Spoiler Aldrich Killian.
Disney may have been a little preoccupied this week with its shock purchase of Lucasfilm and the subsequent announcement of Star Wars Episode VII, but that didn't mean that the studio's other billion-dollar property was left completely in the cold, with Marvel Studios releasing a new image of The Mandarin (Ben Kingsley) from Iron Man 3 Also, Frank Grillo (Gangster Squad, Zero Dark Thirty) has officially joined the cast of Captain America: The Winter Soldier as the villain Crossbones. Grillo subsequently appeared on The Matthew Aaron Show to discuss his casting, revealing that Crossbones is set to appear in three movies in total, with the host suggesting this would include The Avengers 2 and Captain America 3. If true, it seems that Marvel could be eying the an adaptation of 'The Death of Captain America' story arc somewhere down the line... ...While Disney and Marvel Studios seem to have plenty on their hands at the moment with 'Phase Two' of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Stan Lee has took a moment to touch upon further expansions to the MCU, revealing during a recent interview (via ComicBookMovie) that: "I can tell you there will definitely be a Doctor Strange movie! They are working on Ant-Man, which requires really small cameras! Black Panther is being developed, one of my favourites... The Inhumans... All the heroes will eventually be made into movies." With thousands of characters at Disney's disposal, that's going to be a hell of a lot of movies...
Super Bowl Trailer....which sadly is 99% a chopped quickie of the one from almost 3 months ago: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/Xmu75XNAM84" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Possible new info, which inadvertently tosses in a couple of peeks at IM3 not seen in trailers: <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/ClwiB7UIG7E" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> New Poster:
It's not confirmed, just speculation, and even if it is true, it has nothing to do with the IM3 plot. Simply suggesting a post script tie in to one of the upcoming Marvel films. There had been previous reports that the post/mid credits tie in would be to a different film.
I imagine the Iron Man franchise makes more money than just about any other movie out there, how would they be unable to afford him if they're the Yankees of movies?
I don't know if anyone's come up with "I'll/he'll be done after such-and-so." I'm guessing after IM3 we'll next see RDJr in Avengers 2. By then he might be so rich off these movies and starting to get long in the tooth; maybe he'll hang'em up. But ain't nobody wanting to kill the golden goose. After Avengers made $1.5 billion worldwide, they'll milk this cow (I'm big on the barnyard metaphors today) as long as they can. I do hope the Captain America and Thor sequels are better than their originals (well, Thor was good; but only Hailey what's-her-face made me pay any attention during Captain America).
I really doubt it. He's going to be in Avengers 2 at the very minimum. I don't think affording will be a problem; he did the first Iron Man for 500k (he really loves the character). Another 3-4 films I'd guess.
