Bump... I I just found a site that has Iron man2. Watching it right now. The only thing bad about it is the sound doesn't match the screen. Its not bad but its annoying. I 'll give you my review when I'm done. I'll post a link if I can get 10 reps. I'm sorry but I tired of being stuck as Lowry. I want to be Brooks damnit!!!
it was entertaining, but forgettable. dont forget the last scene after the credits. i think i waited for 25 mins while they ran everyone n their asistants' names.

The sequels are never as good as the first, so I'm not expecting too much...the blu-ray of the first one sucked, well at least the sound did...but I digress... Will be seeing it this Friday...
Spider-Man 2?! The Dark Knight?! I don't think Iron Man 2 will be better than the first, but the above two movies took things to another level over their predecessors.
I don't know why people watch bootlegs of action movies. The visuals and sound are as much a part of the movie as the actual content.
Add X-men 2 to that list. I think you've got your expectations set about right. I thought it was similar to the first movie - thin story, decent action, very good CG, snappy dialogue, some humor - overall entertaining and worth watching in a cinema. Kick-ass was more fun tho. Yeah, unless you've got a great home theater system (which I don't) I wouldn't even bother watching the dvd. Without the visual and sound spectacle, iron man 2 probably becomes a below average movie imo.
I'm basically expecting an entertaining, watchable movie that is worth my $8.50, which is about the best you can expect with the majority of superhero movies. Certainly not expecting the quality of Dark Knight, Spider-Man 2, or even Iron Man 1. How did the inclusion of so many characters/enemies feel to you? After the debacle that is Spider-Man 3, I shuddered when I first read about how much they were trying to cram into Iron Man.
I thought it did a good job of avoiding the too many characters problem spidey 3 had by making the characters contribute to the main plot and keeping the focus on Iron man vs the Rourke character. However I have not read the comics and didn't go in with any pre-existing connection to these new characters, so maybe fans might be disappointed that they're fav. comic book character didn't get enough screen time.
same. I kept readin about how people were gonna watch avatar online or how it wasn't worth seeing in Theaters. A movie like that is built for theaters, not for bootleg copies.
Never was a big fan of Iron Man 1. I thought it was very overrated. I'm hoping this one to be pretty good though. The previews look nice.
what werent you impressed about? Depends. SOme people thought 1 was too slow and there wasnt enough action. 2 seems like it will be wall to wall action, which isnt necessarily a bad thing, but as an overall movie it tends to lack. that's what made 1 so good, the story developed and it moved along nicely
I thought 1 was awesome, but the previews haven't gotten me too excited for part 2. I'm going to see it regardless and hopefully my lowered expectations will leave me more impressed. I'm more interested in Robinhood....
