Speaking of aliens I wonder if they go after the Alien franchise next, maybe they replace xenomorphs with non binary E.T's...
Have you seen it? I haven't paid attention, but if there's time travel involved, then they do center it on Indy. Ford is 80. Unless you want even creepier ass deep fakes where the Ford family gets paid for AI using Harrison's likeness, then he has to pass the torch. They tried with a dude in the last movie, and now it's a chick. ::shrugs:: If you don't like it, don't watch? Not sure why you're b****ing about something that has nothing to do with you. Just watch the old ones you love(?) and chill.
Nah, just plot consistency I heard they even don't have Short Round in the movie but Kathleen Kennedy don't play that Dr Jones @ROXRAN @Salvy @AroundTheWorld
@Salvy @ROXRAN white dudes? They don’t even have Scooby Doo the talking dog in the Scooby Doo HBO show called ‘Velma’ They made Black Shaggy but no Scooby??! That’s anti K9 breh
4 out of 5, would have been 4.5 if they would have cut about 20 minutes off in the numerous chase scenes. Overall VERY enjoyable. DD
It peaks too early - it's extended opening is genuinely entertaining and well-done, and the rest of the movie can't quite leave up to it. The villains are way too ill-defined and mostly faceless; I'm not sure what most of them are doing. The film is too long by at least 30 minutes. At two hours, this may have been genuinely great. But its middle drags. I didn't like its coda at all. Having said that, it's pretty good, otherwise. Mangold stages several terrific action sequences and he doesn't wallow in regurgitating empty nostalgia. He works to try and make the film stand on its own, and it's better for it, eschewing, "Remember, that one time...?" I gave it *** out of *****.
