Just got back from the movie. Don't know if it's just me or the plot doesn't make a whole lot of sense. The visuals were nice. Character designs were pretty good, but some of the fight scenes were kind of lame, just tough guys throwing punches at each other. Overall it doesn't impress me.

Why the hell at the end did the prince chose to fight hellboy one on one and not just crush them with all those golden robots? I guess it was something like hellboy challenged him for the right to control the army. But why th hell did hellboy have the right to challenge that? He was just some random guy out there on the street. If anyone can challenge for the right of the golden army, is that army of any good?

I got to the theater and called an audible and decided to see Get Smart instead, which I enjoyed.

The princess said it in the movie right after Hellboy challenged him. As son of "The Fallen One," Hellboy possessed to royal blood necessary to challenge for the right to control the army.

Just saw it with my wife, I liked it.....very lighthearted and funny. Men in Blackish with way better visuals.

I do hope that Del Toro doesn't screw up the Hobbit though.
