I've listened to the Harry Potter tapes ever since I was a kid, and I'm so glad they made it into 2 parts, only that way can they put in every single tiny detail, but even then from the trailer I think some characters have been cut. Can't wait for the film
New trailer LOOKS EPIC!! <object width="640" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RPxlqCnkYzM?fs=1&hl=en_US"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RPxlqCnkYzM?fs=1&hl=en_US" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="640" height="385"></embed></object>
I hope they don't puss out and make this one rated PG again. With the amount of deaths in the last books, it should be rated R, but they won't do that
You are so lucky. You should watch the first harry potter movies, they are great, and then read the book.
To be honest these films have gone the books justice. Probably as close to accurate without dragging on. LOTR's will always be the benchmark but The Potter movies are fantastic compared to the garbage 90% of Hollywood manages to ruin from book to film. I re-read each book again 2 weeks before the movie premiere, avoid the trailers and go in the theater ready to Spoiler j*zz in my pants
why would you ever watch the movie before reading the book? ive done it a few times when i was younger and its boring, page after page of knowing what is going to happen already. i prefer it much much more the other way.
I watched the first 2 Potter movies and then read the rest of the series. I tried to go back and read the first 2 but it was boring knowing what was gonna happen.
I've still yet to find an answer...if Voldemort can do all of this kick-ass magical stuff, why the hell can't he whip up a spell to fix that nose?
And Hermione like the Texans cheerleaders should show a little more skin ... if you know what I mean. Spoiler In all seriousness, I not being serious.
Maybe he kinda likes that look. What's more confusing is why Hermione, being the best witch of this age, can't whip up a spell to fix em flat screens she has going on her chest.
Haha, this was me as well. Also, the 1st 2 movies are so close to the books it makes reading them a drag. I really enjoyed reading the rest of the series before the movies came out.
I didn't even realize the last one was PG...didn't bother me in the least though because they still nailed the atmosphere and tension I thought quite well. My only complaint was the end and Alan Rickman's delivery of a certain line. Otherwise I thought the movie was excellent. If you look at the trailer for this one...it looks like one death in the very beginning isn't gonna be a death at all in the film. Kind of disappointing but maybe I'm wrong about it.
