I liked the movie. OTP is my second favorite HP book, but I liked the movie's take on the book. One criticism though is that I felt this movie was too short. The book is long by HP standards and yet the movie was probably the shortest of the series, at least it felt that way.
I thought Order of the Phoenix was easily the most boring book in the series (until the end), so I am not even remotely excited about this movie. Even the death of XXXXXXXX didnt really bug me. I'll prob see the movie anyway.
I kinda agree with you, I liked the book, but the beginning was unbelievable boring, Harry was such a whinning anoying kid. But i expect they did not include that to much in the movie.
Harry in the movie was nowhere near as "emotional" as the Harry in the book...the times that he did get angry were all justified...and rest assured they only included the most important parts from the house in the movie. And if the death didn't bother you too much in the book it certainly won't bother you in the film as it happens very quickly and without much fanfare.
Yeah. It was my least favorite book to read. The entire story is pretty negative. But it has been a couple of years since I read it. That said I thought the movie was incredible. It was much better than the last one and might be the best of them all. It was great.
That's exactly how I felt. I personally hated the 4th movie, I don't understand why so many people are saying it was good. I would probably rank them: 3 > 5 > 1 > 4 > 2 But yeah, for what was probably the least enjoyable book to read, they made it into a great movie.
