I don’t care about the thin story line, holes in the plot, no way these things could happen types of things and blobbity blah blah. I was in it for the action and for me it paid off. My boys and I enjoyed it.
Good family movie with tons of action but it didn't give me that chills vibe for that cgi fight. Feel bad that I watched this free on HBO max.
The last one that came out with the lady from the conjuring universe I took for grant. With the world falling apart you have to relish these types of movies.
The story was complete garbage nonsense and the dialogue was written by 1st graders, which is fine if the action scenes are solid. For me, it was kind of meh in the Michael Bay action scene kind of way like Pacific Rim 2, instead of feeling more weight in the monsters like the fight scenes in Pacific Rim 1. The Zach Snyder cut of Justice League was more entertaining imo.
Would you prefer if they fought on dry land? I didn't mind all the neon colors and buildings being decimated by both of them. The highlight for me was when they were screaming at each other, that was awesome.
Was it just me or the scaling was a little off for Kong? In one scene he's towerin over all these skyscrapers and then the next this fool jumping over buildings as if he was spiderman and then at one point on top of the building like in the old kong movies. ANyone noticed this?
I was expecting the story to be stupid. I didn't think it would be THAT stupid. The stupid story was tolerable because the monster fighting was very good. Maybe not the best, but still very enjoyable. After watching it, I really look forward to seeing it in 3D (I love a good 3D movie)
If Kong wanted to he would've flipped that boat he was shackled to in a heartbeat. Godzilla's blue laser looks op, 1 tap of that and Kong is dead instantly but somehow he has bad aim reminded me of Oladipos 3 point shooting
I don’t know why the scripts have to be SO turrrible, like intentionally so. Skull Island wasn’t as bad, so it’s possible to be better than this.
Wait a sec? You guys watched this on hbo max or theaters? Cause the theater is the way to go even if you think it was dog ****. I'd rather watch dog **** on the big screen than in my ghetto ass tv at home any dang day dawg.
