Is there a thread for Judd Apatow's latest film starring Adam Sandler and Seth Rogan? Interesting that Sandler and Apatow are getting more serious with their work, but that the focus of the film is the medium of comedy against the backdrop of someone dying. this looks really good. Apatow worked some amazing stand-up comedians on his way up, including Garry Shandling, Ben Stiller, Sandler, and Seinfeld. And for me, you can't go wrong with Seth Rogen, Jonah Hill, and Apatow's wife Leslie Mann and their two daughters...

I like serious comedy. Look at how Forgetting Sarah Marshall turned out. I have no doubt this one will be just as enjoyable

I don't like a lot of Apatow's stuff. Some of it is gold, but some if very overrated. I cannot stand Seth Rogan. He can only play the same guy with the same humor

I'm pretty sure Sandler is a lifelong Knicks fan.

Looks damn good. Sandler should do more of this type of movie. He's much funnier now when he's not reincarnating Billy Madison or Happy Gilmore. I may still be in the minority, but Punch Drunk Love was a great movie and he was great in it.

I'm a little tired of Seth Rogan myself, but I commend him and his crew for being the only people left still making good comedies.
