For all those who enjoyed this one, there's already plans to not only make a 7 but it's also supposed to be a start of a trilogy for possibly 8 and 9.
The 7 8 and 9 are supposed to be the trilogy and a connected story line. Here's some interviews with Vin Diesel and more that explains it. I put it in spoilers just in case people haven't seen the films. Just saw it. not bad, but also not great. Like most of the movies in the series it was entertaining for what it was
Lol no relation, well at least as far as I know. Lin is a common surname. I think Justin Lin, although born in Taiwan, is from Southern California. As opposed to Jeremy, he's from Northern California.
saw it again for the second time Sunday night at the new Santikos Palladium, which is a ridiculous place btw, and have to add 2 more things Gina Carano is freaking gorgeous and they made her WAY busty with her cleavage in this movie, not that I'm complaining btw, didn't know she was dating Superman.... (Henry Cavill) Spoiler how convenient the end chase ended at the end of the runway, I literally laughed when noticed that the 2nd time
lol but I wouldn't be surprised if he or other people seriously thought they were related, so I just played along.

I watched it, it was entertaining like all the others. nice cars, hot girls, explosions, guns, fights...
Because it just knows what it is. It doesn't attempt to have a complex plot or anything. It manages to keep giving subtle changes to keep it interesting. They have cool action scenes that are fresh. They realized that pure street racing would get boring so they added more ridiculous things. And the girls are generally hot.
The comedy bits and that it doesn't take itself too seriously (yet still has some insanely serious and epic scenes) helps tremendously.
Spot on assessment. And it's probably going to be just as exciting watching FF7 since you-know-who is going to play the Shaw's little brother. More fight scenes are always welcome. FF6 also didn't feature / highlight that many cars, which I thought a big strange, but also nice. Car chase scenes were still done right, though.
Really liked it. I think the song fits well with the movie too. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/rv8C1wjbsKw?rel=0" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
