It's got a release date and a director, so time for a thread! May 24, 2013 (Memorial Day) The same director - Justin Lin is lined up to direct the sequel. link Who's ready for another 'Fast & Furious' sequel? Anyone? Well, whether you like it or not, Universal has just given us a release date for the accurately titled 'Fast & Furious 6.' The sixth (sigh) film in the franchise is tentatively scheduled for a May 24, 2013 (Memorial Day), premiere. Some find it easy to dismiss the famed car series as little more than fluff. However, after 'Fast Five' posted the biggest opening weekend in Universal Pictures history ($83.6 million), another sequel was essentially guaranteed. (As of now, the film has made almost $600 million worldwide.) Hit the jump to check out the (few) details we know about 'Fast & Furious 6.' Right now, Justin Lin is lined up to direct the sequel (it would be his fourth 'Fast & Furious' in a row). Neal H. Moritz and Vin Diesel will also return as producers. Unfortunately, we don't know much more than that, however, with the amount of money the last movie made, we would assume Diesel would again play the role of Dominic Terreto.
You should, it was very good. The best one since the original. The Rock steals the spotlight from Vin Diesel. Also stay tuned all the way through, even past the credits.
I remember when I was in Omaha and I think the fourth one premiered, they roped off the area near that screen and had a bunch of cops in that little section of the lobby; it was like the whole southern and northeastern part of town had come to that spot.
Fast 5 was indeed good. I like the whole series overall. Don't have to pay too much attention and they have nice cars and hot women. It would be cool if they made a Rush Hour 4 as well.

Vin Diesel and Paul Walker have another adversary to deal with as they hit the road once more for FAST SIX. This time it'll be Luke Evans in the other car, according to Variety, as FAST SIX continues to lock up its cast. Evans was most recently seen in THE RAVEN, which means most of you didn't see him at all, but, before that, perhaps you remember him from IMMORTALS or CLASH OF THE TITANS, and you can see him in the role of Bard later this year in THE HOBBIT.* While the plot is being kept a secret, it's safe to say that another heist-type movie will be heading our way, as the franchise continues moving away from the fast cars and street racing that the first four FAST/FURIOUS films were built on. Evans' casting means that Dom and Brian, with Michelle Rodriguez back in the fold, won't just be on the run from The Rock. It appears that Evans will be playing another crew's leader, also in for the same job. Hmmm... sounds like things are going to get crowded going for the same target.* http://www.aintitcool.com/node/55597
Do I need to watch all of the series to get the 6th? I've only seen part 1, 2, xXx, Chronicles of Riddick, and Fast Five.
