Well, he had already lost all that weight for Oppenheimer, so ... maybe ... ?

Excellent use of sound in that trailer. And I like that the filmmakers said at some point: "We need a little extra crazy-pants energy in this... Let's call Ralph Fiennes."

Awesome trailer. Sometimes Youtube comments are really great, was curious if the audio was from the movie or elsewhere:

The audio is from Rudyard Kipling’s poem, “Boots”, from 1915. 60,000 British infantrymen marched endlessly through South Africa, capturing settlement after settlement. 22,000 Solders lost their lives. The poem suggests that this psychological torture surpasses even the horrors of Hell itself, as the speaker declares after six weeks of marching that Hell contains no “fire-devils-dark or anything” - only the endless movement of boots. It’s truly horrific and genius to pair it with this film. I cannot wait to see it after all these years!

    1. Good catch. He's in the cast.
    2. Finally got to watch this on a bigger screen without my wife (who doesn't like horror) or kids running in and out of the room. Looks ****ing awesome.
    3. Aaron Taylor-Johnson is in it too. He's the Kraven guy in the trailer. Is this the sequel to Kraven?
    4. On that note, I'm far more interested in the 28....Later universe than I am in Sony' Spider-man(less) Universe.
    5. I'm going to have to give the first two a rewatch.

    6. Totally stoked that it's a trilogy.
    7. There are 'zombie' kids in the horizon shot
    8. The Bone Temple is ****ing awesome and alludes to some sort of sentience- they would sort of have to not be mindless to have kids and survive winters

I do not like zombie movies really, but the 28 Whatevers are quite good zombie movies.

"The Girl With All the Gifts" is another good one

Why can't HBO or whoever make a proper 10/12 hour miniseries out of WWZ?

    I’d love that!
Don’t think I’ve seen Girl With all the Gifts.

though not zombies, similar vibe in 30 Days of Night and it’s really good

WWZ movie sucked so, so, much

Book is brilliant, perfectly made for chopped up hourish-long episodes.

    Wouldn't 4 movies make it a tetralogy?
