I just saw this...it was a lot to take it but overall it's a great, mind-bending trip. I don't think I could begin to explain the plot if I tried..or it would just take me a very long time. The whole theater gave a round of applause at the end, I recommend everyone check it out when it comes out.
So it turns out the song from the trailers is not from the score. Zack Hemsey- Mind Heist (perfect title) <object width="480" height="385"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/9t8t4dGt7do&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/9t8t4dGt7do&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="385"></embed></object>
Premise and feel is similar to the Matrix...both movies involve a real world and a 'dream' world, and looks like its possible to do anything in the dream world. Can't wait, this movie is going to rock.
Is there a lot of action like non stop?? I can use some action packed scenes in a summer movie every once in awhile...
 Sounds sinister, intense, menacing, and tragic, a slower version of this: Spoiler <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/RBzkAbx9gk0&hl=en_US&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/RBzkAbx9gk0&hl=en_US&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> *YAWN.*
I absolutely can't wait. Looks amazing. Tomorrow and Thursday I plan to watch Nolan's other films. I actually haven't seen any other than the Batman ones. Though I really love Begins and TDK. I'll be watching Memento and his first movie (I think its called the following?) tomorrow since they are on the netflix instant queue, and probably the batmans and insomnia thursday (Wont be able to get the prestige. suppose i could try to find it though). hopefully going to go thursday at midnight.
Roger Ebert just gave it a perfect score 4/4 stars http://rogerebert.suntimes.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20100714/REVIEWS/100719997 Richard Roeper also gave it a perfect score calling it the best movie in the 21st century http://www.richardroeper.com/
I just watched Following like 2 days ago. It's only an hour long and in black and white, but it is a really good movie. He also has another one before that called Doodlebug. You can find it on youtube it's only 3 mins long. Also, be sure and watch The Prestige. Amazing movie. My favorite director is Darren Aronofsky but Christopher Nolan is very close to taking over.
Thanks for mentioning it. Since the first second I heard it I couldn't wait to sample those sinister horns. Too bad it's very recognizable now and everyone else will do it too. Still fun to play with though.
