The first trailer has arrived for “Hobbs & Shaw” and “Atomic Blonde” director David Leitch’s action thriller “Bullet Train,” an adaptation of Kotaro Isaka’s novel “Maria Beetle,” which will hit cinemas on July 15th.

The story follows five assassins who all find themselves on a fast-moving bullet train. They soon come to realise that their individual assignments are all interconnected.

Brad Pitt, Joey King, Brian Tyree Henry, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Zazie Beetz, Michael Shannon, Logan Lerman, Andrew Koji, Karen Fukuhara, Masi Oka, Hiroyuki Sanada and Sandra Bullock star in the Sony Pictures production.

    Looks fun.

These hyperstylized crime ensemble movies are usually misses, but this has a hit vibe.

Atomic Blonde was grossly underrated. Hobbes n Shaw...meh but not terrible.

Totally agree with your take on Atomic Blonde. I thought it was terrific, with some of the best action scenes on film that I've seen. I was hoping for a sequel and didn't get it. Blonde made $100 million on a budget of $30 million, which made it profitable. Damn Hollywood.

Liam's very particular set of skills were not needed.

He and his stunt coordinator/director/producer partner have done some quality stuff so I'm assuming this will be fun as well.

This is one helluva cast and Leitch deserves credit for more than just Atomic Blonde and Hobbs and Shaw. He co-directed the first John Wick, directed Deadpool 2 and produced Nobody. Brad Pitt rarely signs up for dud movies nowadays so I have high hopes for this one. Hell, I'd buy a ticket just for Joey King's lips.

Surprised there are big fans of Atomic Blonde I just remember it being ok, really liked the visuals but don't remember anything that stood out plot or action wise.

I do like everything else he has done, so count me in.

Don't think I could find Michael Shannon in the trailer. He's so good when given the chance.
Probably a real baddie in this one, one of many.
