it's kind of sad really...the darker animated stuff they have put together is actually really entertaining. pandering to a general populace for a quick $$$ really neuters their creative license.
I heard Wonder Woman was having problems too. Its kind of crazy that the DC property I'm most looking forward to now is Aquaman. I feel like this will be a mediocre Batman now
such a shame honestly because DC's characters are much more compelling and exciting. Their animated series/films are unreal.
http://batman-news.com/2017/02/01/chris-terrio-the-batman-script-rewrite/ I'm okay with this. Just need to get a good director that won't eff it up.
The studio should just find the most Affleck-looking replacement actor possible. Doesn't even have to be an actor. Or better yet, just find a guy with a similar name. The new Batman movie, starring Dan Affeldt!
The Wonder Woman problems were shot down pretty quickly by the director..... http://variety.com/2016/film/news/w...patty-jenkins-responds-claim-mess-1201836794/ Wonder Woman’ Director Patty Jenkins Responds to Claim That Film is ‘A Mess’ Arya Roshanian Staff Writer@aryarosh COURTESY OF WARNER BROS. AUGUST 12, 2016 | 06:23PM PT “Wonder Woman” director Patty Jenkins responded to an open letter allegedly written by a former Warner Bros. employee that slammed the production company for releasing an array of subpar superhero movies, ranging from 2013’s “Man of Steel” to this month’s “Suicide Squad.” The letter then proceeded to allude that “Wonder Woman” would be a “mess.” “Maybe Wonder Woman wouldn’t be such a mess,” the letter states. “Don’t try to hide behind the great trailer. People inside are already confirming it’s another mess. It is almost impressive how you keep rewarding the same producers and executives for making the same mistakes, over and over.” Although the identity of the letter’s author remains a mystery, Jenkins was less-than-pleased. She released a string of tweets on Friday responding to the scathing words. Follow Patty Jenkins ✔@PattyJenks Woah, just saw this press about WW having problems. Are they serious? Starring Gal Gadot, “Wonder Woman” hits theaters June 2, 2017.
Hopefully Geoff Johns will have more control over Batman compared to the piece of green poop of a lantern film that he co-produced.
