Their "opinions" are merely an aggregate of collected critical reviews, so you seem to miss the whole point.
If Snyder could replicate the whole Wayne family sequence for the rest of the movie, I'd j*zz through the entire movie.
Wonder Woman movie is next year. Batman Solo movie is 2018. The problem with starting with a Wonder Woman solo movie would be for context. It's a "new" character that needed to be introduced somewhere before. Also, a woman superhero movie.....Marvel has yet to do that or even attempt that. Why hasn't Black Widow had a movie? Marvel really doesn't have a female superhero with the same recognition as Wonder Woman, Batgirl, Supergirl, or even Catwoman. This will actually help DC when the WW stand alone movie is out next year. Positive response for WW should be the big take away from this because after the Suicide Squad, it is the next movie up (June 2017). Good reviews and good box office for that movie will help the Justice League movie in November 2017.
BTW.....with the success of Jessica Jones on Netflix, I wonder is Marvel is considering a female superhero movie. The problem is Jessica Jones was a success because it was an overt superhero story. Women loved it because of the adult themes of rape-trama and how she overcame that. Wonder Woman is totally different type of story.
Marvel announced a female superhero movie last year- Captain Marvel. The next Ant-Man is 'Ant-man and the Wasp'.
This was better the second time around. Positive responses from the audience. Can't wait for Justice League next year.
IMO the character that really stood out was Batman ...can easily see an entertaining solo movie of this Batman which was the most brutal and yet comic true Batman I ever seen. ...the fight with supes was epic
6.5/10 pros- Batman/Bruce Wayne scenes overall Superman v Batman Fight Batman fight to save Martha Wonder Woman intro to the doomsday fight Bond between batman and superman for Martha Cons- Half the movie was boring Superman overall Superman death Batman has visions of the future now?? Lex Luthor actor Doomsday origin (Doomsday did not need to be in the movie) Pointless desert scene Dream sequences Aquaman scene was uncomfortable to watch explosion in the senate right before superman could speak and tell his side.. Really hoping justice league is better...
I went and saw it. I set aside my dislike for Affleck and decided I needed to judge for myself. It was...pretty darn good. Yes there are plot holes and superfluous scene after scene...but it exceeded my expectations. I must give credit where credit is due...Ben Affleck is a damn good Batman. Eisenberg plays a great villain. AND... Spoiler I swear I saw a Lois Lane nip slip. 8/10
I enjoyed the movie. It was long and a little overly dark, but since I'm familiar with most of the characters I give it a solid 8 or 8.5. I knew what to expect and was satisfied. Spoiler Really, I'm a Batman fan and went to see him win, as well as a great fight and action sequences. The movie was condensed true, and the sheer hype and popularity was guaranteed to bring excess hate from critics. However the movie was better than Ant man and other marvel pics I've seen which had higher critic scores.
