They absolutely are competing with Marvel. And playing catch up. http://www.cinemablend.com/new/Batm...rom-Captain-America-3-Release-Date-66649.html
It looks really interesting but I'm astonished at just how grim and dark this movie appears to be - literally as didn't they bother to use lighting all? Batman's character is straight out of Frank Miller's the Dark Knight comic while Superman looks grim and unhappy in just about every shot. Also, not sure I buy the whole "worship him as a God" angle they are selling here. I'm also forced to agree with the poster who pointed out that they have Doomsday looking like a cave troll while Eisenberg's Lex Luthor comes off as more Joker than arch enemy. Oh well, if they wanted to distinguish this movie from the Marvel & Disney (Star Wars) entries, then they most certainly succeeded.
I'm not denying their obvious competition with Marvel, just commenting on the purpose, timing and thoroughness of this particular trailer.
You didn't know Wonder Woman was in this film? She's been on multiple magazine covers even since this was announced. Other than Doomsday, the ranting about "too many spoilers" about this movie is odd to me.
I remember hearing that at some point...that's fine. It's not the spoiler part of it that makes me think it's goofy, though. It doesn't matter..they'll still get my money anyway, in all likelihood.
A possible spoiler review for the movie has hit the web from a test screening. The poster initially posts a short review but then goes on to answer questions in the comments section. Possible massive spoilers ahead: https://www.reddit.com/r/DC_Cinematic/comments/3ytdgv/saw_bvs_last_night_in_la/

You guys need to stop spoilering the movie for yourselves. Your not going to enjoy seeing half the damn movie on these trailers.

The tone of that trailer felt very different from the previous ones. Almost like they are trying to tap into the tone that Suicide Squad is going for. I'm very curious as to what kind of movie we will be getting.
Suprised these weren't posted. <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/qpk8eSpRBnY" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/TReIozZ1b10" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> I was surprised that the Turkish Airlines would partner with Warner Bros for a Super Bowl commercial but Turkish Airlines has been rising in airline rankings.
This promotion might've been in the works for awhile though. This was the last Turkish Airlines flight I took in Turkey last October.
