This looks terrible. Besides Jesse Eisenberg, the acting and script looking dumb. Ill guess Green Lantern bad, not quite Fantastic Four bad.
I was good till the very end of the trailer "She with you?" "I thought she was with you?" And the pose at the end was very cringe worthy. Other then that I was okay with it and Eisenberg as Lex was a refreshing take. Probably won't see it opening weekend but will see it
Lex looks horrible. He should be more stoic and less annoying. Hes like the freaking Joker in this movie.
Do you really go into superhero movies for the plot? You knew eventually batman and superman would team up after they fought each other for a little bit. Is that doomsday?
Yes its him, not in final form I suppose. I'm really hoping for a Darkseid reveal as the main JL villain.
Exactly. They blew it right there. The release of a major trailer for this movie two weeks prior to Star Wars has been known for some time. It's their last shot before the black hole sucks in all the attention.
Maybe his public persona is the quirky/annoying/generic internet-startup-genius you saw in the trailer, but behind the scenes he's truer to the comic version.
Amazingly bad looking CGI for such a large budget movie. Other than that...it was fine? I don't know comics at all, but I'll watch. Bracing myself to get Zach-Snyder'd though.
I'm sorry but it's so cheesy. I guess i'm officially over superhero movies. I'll still watch it in theater though. These are still good movies to watch in theater with great surround sound and visuals.
Jesus, I thought I was a picky movie nerd. I mean, seriously, "I was involved until Wonder Woman showed up....gosh, the trailer gives away that Batman and Superman join forces at the end." It's not as if they announced this as the prelude to Justice League movies or anything. (ahem) Comments here remind me of Bobcat Goldthwaite radio appearance (this was awhile back) talking about his experience watching the Star Wars Special Edition. He was in the movie theater and when the CGI Jabba showed up (remember, this was 1997 CGI), some audience members were yelling, "Fake!"....."Fake!" And he wanted to say, "Yeah, Jabba's fake. He's not real, like Chewbacca. Have any of you nerds ever seen a vagina? If I gave you a police lineup of a mop, a vagina, and a donut, would you be able to tell me which was which?" Anyway, unless the reviews are as scathing as they were for the Man of Steel (all of them turning out to be true, although I liked it a little better in subsequent viewings), I'll be there to see it. (For my own nerd-bit, still can't believe they didn't get Christian Bale, but I guess they didn't want to spend the money. Affleck at least looks the part, even if he doesn't have quite the acting chops.)
I'll be watching the movie when it comes out. With that said...the "I thought she was with you line" was really cringe-worthy in such a "serious" movie. The only other issue I have with it is using Doomsday as a villain but not having him kill or severely maim Superman is a major waste. Obviously neither of those 2 things will be happening. Other than that it looks good, but I'm expecting more of a Man of Steel type movie and much less "Dark Knight" like some people. It had nothing to do with money. Nolan wasn't directing so Bale didn't want any part of it.
Cera's version of Lex reminds me of this guy . . . . not even Joker status . . . . . Unless you taking on Jack's Joker I could see this lex saying. . . "Where does he get those wonderful toys?" <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/AO1gYEPIghE" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Rocket River No sir . . .not liking this Lex
